Lake Como with the Lupos…

My best friend’s wedding. One of my favorite movies… and also the event that inspired this blog post. Hillary (Wright) and Max Lupo were married in Lake Como over Thanksgiving of 2019. I was pretty pregnant and the bride slept in the bathroom the night before the wedding due to a vicious stomach bug that later terrorized our entire group (me included). But that did not stop us from celebrating the beautiful couple. It was the most magical fall day in Italy filled with love, laughs and a little nausea.
Weddings by the lakes in Italy truly have an enchanting vibe! Lake Como’s serene beauty and timeless charm make it an unforgettable holiday destination for special celebrations. It reminds me of Cannobio on Lake Maggiore, where the picturesque scenery adds magic to any occasion. Italy’s lakes always seem to leave a lasting impression!
